About beroNet — VoIP hardware maker

beroNet GmbH was founded in 2002 by three engineers with a background in VoIP access technology. The company develops and manufactures gateways, session border controllers and devices that connect ISDN, analog and LTE to SIP. Development and manufacturing are in Germany.

The products sit where an established telephone installation meets an IP network: at integrators, at PBX and IP-PBX vendors, at call centre and IVR builders, and at carriers. That position is why the range is modular — one chassis, different modules, whatever the site needs.

Leadership

Christian Richter — CEO and co-founder. A physicist by training, he has been building software for telecommunication systems since 2000, from ISDN to SIP, and is responsible for the development and production of beroNet products.

Thomas Häger — co-founder. He worked in IT companies including GE-Compunet while studying environmental and process engineering, then as a software developer at HiSolutions. In 2000 he moved to Onsoft, where he first worked on telecommunications and ISDN. He was CEO of beroNet GmbH between 2005 and 2012.
